Scope of Works

Falcon completed uplift and disposal of the existing LVT floor to the breakfast area, applied a 3 mm latex levelling compound to the ceramic subfloor, and installed iCommercial Studio Moods Hexagon 210 in a mixed pattern as per approved design drawings. Finishing works included perimeter trims and white silicone sealing to deliver a hygienic, durable edge with seamless transitions to adjoining finishes.

Technical Challenges & Solutions

• - The breakfast area remained part of a live hotel operation, so the zone was controlled and closed during the latex curing window to prevent foot traffic.
• - Sequencing was managed to maintain operational continuity while achieving manufacturer-compliant preparation and installation standards.
• - Pattern integrity across the three-tile composition required precision set-out and strict adherence to the approved layout.

The Results

The breakfast area was delivered on programme and to specification with no reported defects. The final floor achieved a high-quality visual finish, durable perimeter detailing, and seamless transitions, demonstrating Falcon's ability to mobilise rapidly and execute defect-free reactive works in occupied hospitality environments.
